BTS Tops July 2025 Ad Model Brand Rankings, Followed by Lim Young-woong and Byun Woo-seok

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, BTS has reclaimed the top spot in the July 2025 advertising model brand reputation rankings, followed by Lim Young-woong in second place and Byun Woo-seok in third.

The rankings were based on 34,285,246 pieces of big data collected from June 3 to July 3, 2025. The analysis measured consumer behavior using four indexes: participation, media, communication, and community. Compared to the previous month’s 40.7 million data points, July’s figure reflects a 15.86% drop in public engagement.

1st: BTS

  • This is a massive 89.35% increase from June’s 1,780,753.

2nd: Lim Young-woong

  • Total Score: 1,951,386
  • Down 12.64% from June’s score.

3rd: Byun Woo-seok

  • Participation Index: 130,455

  • Total Score: 1,854,290
  • A 25.36% decline from last month.

4th: BLACKPINK – 1,739,067 (↑13.09%)

5th: IVE (Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) – 1,462,160 (↓32.64%)

Despite a general decline in overall brand data and consumer activity, BTS surged in positivity. Keyword analysis for the group showed associations with “discharge,” “celebrate,” and “complete group”, with positive sentiment rated at a high 91.49%.

Analysts noted that while overall metrics like media exposure, social buzz, and public spread saw a drop, BTS’s return as a full group likely tied to recent military discharges—may have fueled their strong performance.

Other celebrities in the Top 30 include Son Heung-min, Cha Eun-woo, Park Bo-gum, Gong Yoo, Yoo Jae-suk, SEVENTEEN, aespa, SHINee, Faker, and more, reflecting a diverse mix of idols, actors, athletes, and entertainers dominating Korea’s advertising scene.
